Kinda new here... have a question

I've been kind of lurking on the TTC and this board for a while now...

I went off the pill at the end of September. My period went back to being normal in October (I am generally very regular and when I went off the pill a few years ago, it went right back to normal immediately). So, this month right around when I would have been ovulating we bd and since then (about a week ago...and I haven't been charting or anything) I have been having random cramps on one side. They come and go but always on one side and they aren't that painful, just little twinges.

I read a post a few weeks ago that it might be signs of PG but do you think it could happen that fast? I basically felt it 3 days later. I think it might just be psychosomatic and AF isn't due until the 27th so I have a lot of time to dwell on this.

Anyway, I hope this makes sense. Any advice would be great.

Re: Kinda new here... have a question

Basically the same thing happened to me. I was on the pill for like 6 years and the first month after I went off it, i got pg. I felt a light cramping, like AF but I usually get them bad. My bb's were also very sore. Hope it helps. Good luck.

Re: Kinda new here... have a question

Have you ever had ovulation cramps before? It could be possible that you ovulated later than you thought since you are not charting there is no concrete way to tell.

I had twinges with both my pgs about a week or so after o date along with bloating and extra early cramping. Not to mention I was exhausted!!

It could be pg still though, Good luck and much baby dust!

Thanks for the answers... today it actually only happened once.

It might just be ovulation cramps but then I was ovulated for like a week. Oh well... I have to stop dwelling on this. My mind is running away with me! Chat Icon
