Kinda weird ?
What ever happened to play pens? I remember them when I was little, but they are not around anymore. It seems the pack and play replaced them.
They were much bigger.

I believe they weren't safe. Something about the sides collapsing and posing a strangulation risk . Not to mention they didn't fold up very small!!

No problem. We always bring it with us and take it out at home when other babies are over in the yard. It's always a hit! I can't imagine any strangulation happening if someone is their watching the child!

It is much bigger - I have had 4 infants in it at a time with toys too. It's bright and keeps their attention too.

We have this one - I think pack-and-plays are too small, except for travelling.

wow this is great! my mom keeps asking me where the old school play pens went and i think this is as close as she is gonna get! much bigger than a regular pnp. thanks so much for the link.

They had an old school play pen that you had to buy on Kmarts website if I remember correctly. I just checked though and it is no longer there.
I wanted to order it when Kara was born and never did. I wish I had because she always hated the pack and play.
My son had a pack and play and and old school playpen...He preferred the old school one. They were so much better IMO...wish they would bring them back and make them safe.
