King size bedding question
We just got a king size bed, the mattress is not super thick, regular sheets fit it fine. I have purchased 2 different comforters and either seem wide enough to cover the entire mattress on both sides, it's making me crazy. Right now I have the comforter pulled several inches over to cover the side you can se when you walk in the room but the other side is off by a mile. Have you had this problem? If so what is the solution?

Re: King size bedding question
Same here. It annoys me, I don't know why they just can't make them 4 inches wider.
We don't often make the bed, so I don't have a solution. Plus, we each have our own separate blanket since DH sleeps like a burrito.

Re: King size bedding question
I have a set from BBB that is short on the side and it drives me nuts. I keep a separate blanket that I can grab instead of wrestling the comforter away from DH. My Croscil set hangs just perfectly. Next time I shop for new bedding, I'm going to take measurements before I buy.

Re: King size bedding question
I hate when that happens!! I find the ony comforters that fit really well ony king bed are Calvin Klein (pricey, but worth it since I hate when it's too short) if you find a less expensive maker let me know b/c I have had little luck!

Re: King size bedding question
I have a set from Pottery Barn - A duvet and a quilt. The quilt is definitely wide enough, but the duvet is not and it drives me nuts. I pull it a little longer on my side bc you can see my side from the door.
If you find a solution, please let me know!!!

Re: King size bedding question
Every company makes their comforters different dimensions. The only size I like is 110x96. I scour the shelves looking for comforters in that size. It is hard to find. But so worth it in my opinion. Good manufacturers will have the finished dimensions on the packaging.

I had a duvet from Pottery Barn and it was always a little short. Just got one from Lands End and its so much bigger and hangs perfectly! I love it!!

Re: King size bedding question
Our comforter is short too. It's weird because our set cam with a fitted sheet made for a thicker mattress!

Re: King size bedding question
I have the same issue currently with my Queen... I just adjust it so the side that shows is covered and the other side comes up short.
