Kitchen floor color?
We are now going to be putting the new floor down in the kitchen. We just found out that Best Buys' insurance company is paying for the floor damage so we get to put a new one down. I haven't decided yet on a DuraCeramic or a Ceramic/Porcelain still, but the problem I'm having is the color choice. Cabinets are now white, countertops are a darker mix grays granite looking countertop. It's laminate with a granite look. What color would you suggest for the floor? Would you go for a darker color or lighter color? I brought some samples home from the store and they're lighter colors, and I'm thinking since the cabinets are white that we'll need a darker shade. What do you think? I don't have a picture right now, sorry! If you have any pictures of your kitchens, please share! Thanks!

Re: Kitchen floor color?
i'd go lighter, the darker you go the smaller the space looks, and dark floors show any and all dust.

Re: Kitchen floor color?
I'd definitely go lighter. I'd go with a light gray tile.
