Kitchen Ranges

Does anyone have a GE Profile or Monogram range? What is your opinion?

Does anyone have a range with a gas oven that can convert to a convection? what do you think of it? What cooking do you do in it?

Thanks.

What do you use the convection feature for? Do you have the range with the double oven?

I don't have an convection-- it's a 5 burner stovetop with an oven ovbiously, and a warming drawer.

I have a GE Profile convection oven, with smooth cook top. I use convection a lot, it cooks faster and more evenly.

Do you use it for meats only or is it good for baking? How do you know how to adjust times for cakes, cookies, etc.?

I have it to. I use convection almost all of the time.
I agree... cooks faster and more evenly.

I also have the convection micro for those occassions where a double oven comes in handy.
