Kitchen Sink
I need to buy a new kitchen sink. Any recommendations? Has anyone had one installed? I got a quote of $460 plus tax to install it. Does that seem high?

we purchased an American Standard.
460 + tax is a bit on the high side. It cost me 150.00 to install mine.

DH iinstalled a kitchen sink and I know it was pretty much a breeze - that quote seems high.

We got a new one from Home Depot and DH installed it himself. It was pretty simple.

I used faucet.com and got an American Statndard for a great price. My granite people installed it for me, but I can't see a plumber charging too much to install - 1-2 hours?

That seems like a high price for installation as many sinks don't even cost that.
My sink costs a bit more than that but it is oversized, a much heavier grade of stainless, and special order.
I'd keep looking around.
