Kitchen Tables
I have a finished wood kitchen table from Pier1. My mom accidentally put a hot dish directly on the table and now there is is the dull/whitish stain where the bowl was. IS there any way to get rid of it and prevent it from happening again?
Thanks!!

Re: Kitchen Tables
Mix baking soda with WHITE toothpaste and scrub with a soft toothbrush. It usually works.
I'm not sure how to prevent it. We use trivets or a table pad.

Re: Kitchen Tables
Lisa is right.
To help prevent it I got a glass top made for the top of my table. I bought my table years ago, great deal, but it's cherry wood and I would die if something happened to it. When they came to measure for the shower doors they company also measured for a glass top for my table. It was about $100. but now I don't have to worry about putting anything on the table.
