Kitchen Wall Color:
Thanks to some awesome suggestions on the other thread I've got great ideas for the fireplace & dining room - but the kitchen is where I'm stumped... What is everyone's opinion?
What paint color for the walls and why?
The backsplash is like a beachglass, the appliances will eventually be switched for stainless but not for another two years or so because these are brand new so I just can't see getting rid of them only for looks.
Any ideas would be wonderful!!! TIA!!!
(kitchen table will be round, wood w/ wood chairs, and in an "antique white" color. it is going to be like an ivory - it is a french country style) Image Attachment(s):

Re: Kitchen Wall Color:
I would go with a darker color then the backsplash. They look on the lighter side. i'm sure they are gorgeous. Maybe something like what I did in our Family Room. It's called "Beach House" by Valspar, but I had BM color match it.
It's our accent wall color. It's a blue/green color. If the backsplash is greener, Valspar has some great colors that you can check out in Lowe's. They have all different lines that they carry. Check out Valspars site and you can see all the different ones. Bring some chips home and see what plays with the backsplash the best.

Beautiful room!
Hmm- I wish I had a closer pic of the backsplash. It is not really a blue - it is more of a green, like a sage.
Maybe I should go in the sage or olive green fam for the walls??

Re: Kitchen Wall Color:
I was going to suggest green. Olive / Sage family. I think it would look great with your cabinets and french country furniture.

Re: Kitchen Wall Color:
If you want a sage color, try BM Nantucket Gray. It would look great with the color of our tile floor.
This is it in our TV room. Image Attachment(s):
