kitten adoption in suffolk county....
where would you recommend adopting from? i DO NOT want to get one from a pet store. I was orignially planning on nsal but so much negative feedback im reconsidering

I would contact P.A.W.S in Sayville...they are having a tough time and can not keep their doors open and really need to get their kittens and cats adopted....

It doesn't seem to have the cats/kittens listed...but you will be able to contact them and find out what they have

I was just going to say that... she's on Foster Ave in Sayville, I believe she has an adoption event every Saturday.

If you have a Petco near you- GO! NOW!
They have SO many precious kittens from the Heart and Soul Animal Rescue.
I got mine from them and they are a wonderful organziation. I am so blessed to have found my kittens there.
I was at a Petco recently and they had so many GORGEOUS Kittens for adoption
You can't go wrong...
Specifically the Comack Petco- but I know Pathogue usually has kittens too.. and Lake Grove I think!

We adopted our cat from West Babylon Animal Shelter. It was a very easy process and would do it again.
I would also like to mention that yesterday I was at Petco in Bay Shore and they had the most precious young cat there that they called Mama. Apparently she was dumped with her kittens and then when a car accident occurred and killed a nursing female cat, she helped nurse those kittens as well. She was very sweet, I kept sticking my fingers through the cage and she kept meowing to be pet. Very sweet, pretty and petite.

Just go to any town shelter... they will have many kittens and cats that need homes.
I really like grateful paw in east northport.
