knee pain/swelling?

grrrrrrrr this absolutely sucks. I have not complained my whole 35 weeks of pregnancy but this is painful and I want to complain now. Dr said there's nothing I can do but has anyone found a roundabout way to alleviate the pain/swelling?

I sleep with a pillow under my feet to elevate and it feels great in the morning but as the day goes on it gets bad (i sit at a desk all day but do try to get up an walk as much as i can).

Re: knee pain/swelling?

I'm in the same boat -- my feet/ankles/legs/knees are so swollen I had to buy double-wide mules b/c I grew out of all my shoes.

I've been tested for pre-eclemsia b/c of the swelling + high BP + significant weight gain (water rention) - but I'm on the cusp.

Nothing to do besides literally sit all day long with elevated legs...it STINKS.

Re: knee pain/swelling?

Lots and lots of water. If you can, try to keep your feet elevated during the day too. I used to keep a file box under my desk to keep my feet up a little and would sit with my feet up on my desk when seeing clients ( I know, real professional, lol).

Also, try an epsom salt bath. That helped me a lot with my swelling and made my legs feel much better.
