Kofinas ladies come in please.
If you used Kofinas for hrp, where did you deliver? And who was your ob? I know Pillitteri is his ob of choice but he delivers at good sam & southside. I was hoping to deliver at LIJ new hyde park. TIA.

I go to University Plaza. The building right next door to Kofinas. But they deliver at Winthrop.

Do you mind fm me why you left Pilliterris? I just moved back to LI & need a new ob. I want to make sure I pick one I want to stay w/.
Do you have to use certain ob's to see Kofinas?

I would like to know this too. I saw Kofinas and Pilliterri for my DD and really want to stay with Kofinas for my next LO but want to switch OB's.

I used Dr. Kofinas and Dr. Pillitteri when I had my DS.
I will NOT be using Pillitteri again.
I wish there was someone Kofinas would work with in Suffolk - aside from Pillitteri.

Im so glad this question is posted because I am looking to switch from Pilliteri as well.....but I want to keep Kofinas (for when we get preg with our next dc).

I had a few reasons why I switched from Pillitteri, but I guess the main reason was his staff. I just didn't trust them to be competent and organized since I never got a call back about any test results and felt like something could fall through the cracks - especially since I unfortunately have a history of cancer in my family... Cant take any chances. I actually addressed it with the np, but nothing changed after that. And many of them were just plain rude and acted like they were doing ME a favor. I hate when the staff is not a good representation of the doctor.
Plus, I found that after I gave birth, I could no longer get in to see the doctor, but instead got the nurse practitioner each time (his sister). I liked her and all, but I wanted a DOCTOR to take care me.
There were a few other reasons, too, that I don't want to say publicly, but it was important to me to switch, while still being able to see Dr. Kofinas, who I LOVE.
