anyone try the old TWO place now casual Mexican called K.Pacho ... reviews don't look so good on yelp and opentable wondering if it was just to new and they have ironed out the kinks?

DH and I went about a month ago with a party of 6. I wouldn't really call it casual. There were some people there that were dressed as if they were going to a club. I'd call it more trendy than anything.

Service was pretty good. Food was good too. I thought the menu was kind of limited and pretty $$$. I probably wouldn't go back b/c of how expensive it was. If it were less expensive, I'd go back.

When we sat down, the server brought out 2 palate cleansers - lemon granita. After asking, he poured tequila over one of them. (Surprisingly, there was no charge for this, even for the tequila! Not sure if this was a fluke or the norm).

As a table, we ordered guacamole & some cheesy chorizo app. They only give 3 tortillas for the cheese and not a lot of chips for the guac either but he brought over more when we asked. Good but not worth the price.

Most of us ordered the Carnitas tacos, which, IMO, were delicious. Everyone who ordered them thought so. Didn't care for the rice & beans that came with them.

We all shared the Frozen Hot Chocolate for dessert. It was pretty decent and so big that 6 of us couldn't finish it.

With the check (which came out to about $80 per couple - 3 couples) we were given cotton candy which was a cute touch.

I was there in March with my husband and 2 other couples and we were extremely disappointed! The ambience is really nice and the food was pretty good but the service was terrible!

I don't know if we went on an off night but it took over an hour for our dinners to arrive after we had our appetizers. The table behind us got into a fight with our server and refused to pay, we felt bad for our waitress because she was very sweet so we didn't complain. I don't think I will ever go back though.

We've eaten their twice and had good experiences both times.

We also got the lemon granita and tequila at no charge so it must be a thing they do.

I thought the food was good...had fish tacos the one time (can't remember what I had the other time though!).

The place is very nice inside...some people were dressed up but a lot of people were just in jeans and we saw families with kids too.

I've only gone for Happy Hour, but the appetizers I had were good and so were the drinks! Definitely a fun place to go for cocktails.
