Kraupner Pharmacy

Does anyone deal with them? I had one delivery from them last week and it was fine. Last night, they were suppose to be delivering the rest of my meds (prednisone and stims). They said they would be there between 6-11. I waited until midnight then left a note on the door saying that it was ok to leave the meds on my front porch (wasn't even sure if that was allowed but I couldn't stay awake). They have no emergency number so there was no way to contact them. I called this morning and the girl (who was rude) said the man was at my house last night and tried to call me. Um....no, I had my phone right next to me in case they called and they never did. She said 'an old lady answered' I guess that must have been my neighbor so he was obviously at the wrong house. She said she would have them deliver again tonight but didn't give me a time. Are all there deliveries at night? I am not so sure about them now and wanted to hear your experiences with them.

i deal with them too..

they usually always come at night, and its a PAIN because its always so late..

i had the same thing happen to me though, they were supposed to come and i waited until midnight and said screw it , im going to bed.. they called the next day and said something got messed up with the meds.. so they delivered it that day instead.

i have gotten it during the day once but that is because i had the day off.

but i totally feel your pain.. it is annoying to wait!!

All the deliveries I received were also at night, but they were delivered on the day they were supposed to and in the time allocated (usually 7 - 11). I'm sorry your order got messed up.

Other than the late deliveries, I thought their service was very good and the girls on the phone were very nice.

I have had many delieveries from them. Most of them were fine (although, yes one night was at midnight). There was one very rude experience with having them get me my PIO at work (considering I work downtown NYC and they are in brooklyn, you'd think it would be more convenient than trecking out to suffolk county ) and boy the attitude I got from the girls there. But over all I would say that their deliverys were in the time frame and most of them came around 8-9ish.

Just do a search for Kraupner's on here and you'll see that LOTS of us have had problems with them. I can't stand them.

I never had a problem with them in 4 years, but I have seen other's complain.

They do deliver during the day...I asked them about day deliveries and found it much more convenient to deliver to my job during the day then to schedule something at night.

I've dealt w/them and have no complaints. I agree the girl on the phone can be a bit snippy, but I never had a problem w/deliveries.

Never heard of them leaving it on the doorstep. I"ve always had to sign upon receipt of them, whether delivered to work or home.

Thank you ladies. I will chalk this up to one bad experience as most of you had no problems with them. I called back and left instructions for the driver. The girl who answered this time was very pleasant and said she would have the delivery guy call me when he was close.

And...on a side note....do you tip the delivery guy and if so, how much? I never know how much to tip them. I live way out east so it is a bit of a ride for them.

Most of the times I gave the drive five dollars

I had 3 deliveries so far and no problems.
