Kyle Rittenhouse 17yo arrested for murder
Can we talk about this?
I dont even want to talk about if it was self defense or not.
I want to understand one why was a 17 yo who didn't even live in the area in a high tension place with a gun to begin with. where were his parents?
two tell me why police officers are allowing anyone in the area carrying guns and not stopping them?
I dont know why we think its ok for citizens to be patrolling the area like they are law enforcement. If the local police cant handle it call someone in for help!!!
What Happens if protesters start protesting with guns on display?? 
I feel like most people arent even addressing why this kid was there to begin with with a gun and how the cops just allowed it to happen!(this is not bashing cops either I just dont get why he wasnt told to leave or stopped from walking around with a gun)
What am I missing???
again we dont have to really talk about if his actions were self defense or not because honestly I haven't looked really into it to see if he was justified or not in shooting the people. the point is why was there even a opportunity for this to take place??!!

Vigilantes should never be allowed.
It's frightening that people who aren't trained and have no accountability think they can go around taking the law into their own hands.
As to why he was allowed to this, I have no idea.

From what I'm understanding the mother drove her teenage son across state lines and she also was a member of the militia, heavily armed and dressed up like rambo herself. Perhaps this is some twisted extremist mother-son bonding activity. When I first saw the photo of her I thought it was an old military photo. But nope, just cosplay.

The whole thing is disgusting. Police thanking armed "vigilantes" who were out past curfew. This kid who was illegally armed flip flopping between aiming his gun at protesters, offering protesters medical aid and saying he's an emt, and then shooting several before walking past police and going home with his mom. The mother is disgusting and should be charged. The sheriff said he hasn't seen the footage from Blake's shooting which sparked all this. Umm, what?! It's all insanity.

If this kid was hell bent on carrying a gun and policing let him join the military in a year, or the PD. But then again, he probably wouldn't have passed the psychological tests required for entry to either. And thank god for that actually

He already had multiple prior stats including involving weapons. He shouldn't have been qualified to be a camp counselor or unarmed public safety officer before becoming a murderer. And his mother should not have been allowed to own firearms. If you can't kero them away from a minor you shouldn't be allowed to own them.

I know you didn’t meant it that way and I agree it’s not normal behavior. Trust me, I watch Snapped and the ID channel more than I should. Lol. I just feel like crazy or abnormal label always ends up working as a defense for white criminals. Where as a black man is just a criminal. This is the most common perception in society, not a direct correlation to your post.

If he was a POC, there is NO WAY he would have been able to stroll away from the crime scene, LET ALONE not be shot and killed by the police and to go HOME that night! This is SHAMEFUL and OUTRAGEOUS!
And the fact that our piece of sh*t "president" is defending this murderer -aided by the POLICE (as a 17 YO, he should have been arrested for openly carrying an assault weapon under 18 YO) makes me sick to my stomach. The police condoned it by their lack of action that night. This country is seriously so f*cked.
