I got her first magazine and loved it. I also have the "Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats: A Year of Deliciously Different Dinners (A 30-Minute Meal Cookbook)". You should get your MIL the one and I also like the 30-minute comfort food book.

I only have 1 and actually --- I don't use it all that much. I try to use weight watcher recipes. Also none of her meals have been 30 minutes for me!!

I always call them 45 minute to an hour meals! They aren't 30 min meals for me either...

They can be 30 minutes if you have done the prep work. Like vegetables..when I go food shopping, I cut up everything before I store it in the refrigerator. When it's time to cook, no need to cut. It's all there...just need to take out of the bag. I also use the Food Saver so the food stays fresh much longer....

I agree with the timing of the meals but so far all her meals that I have made have taken me about 40 minutes to make.

I have all of them! 
I love cookbooks!!! I would say any are good but i like the comfort food ones and I think the get-together one is the least practical.
