La Bella Vita and Villa Russo in Ozone Park and Villa Russo

Has anyone been to a party at either of these locations? If so, can you please tell me what your thoughts were on the food, service, etc? I am trying to find a place to have a party.

Thanks!

I've been to La Bella Vita and thought the food was horrible. They call it Italian but it sure didn't taste like it.

I live in Howard Beach, grew up in OZ, never went to Villa Russo, and Bella Vita it must be 10 years since I've been there. I think they're just ok.....what kind of party are you having and how many people? Depending on the # of guests, you could try Roma View in HB (price is I think $35-$45pp), Lenny's Clam Bar (their smaller party room was just redone and they're around $28pp I think), or Carosello also in HB ($35-$45pp). let me know if you have questions on any of them or need any other suggestions on local restaurants.

Re: La Bella Vita and Villa Russo in Ozone Park and Villa Russo

I just threw my mom a party in November at Roma View $45/pp ----- open bar, sit down lunch. Also my bridal shower was there --- $40/pp brunch. Ask for Eric.

Matteo's is $45-$55. Askf or Chris.

Albertos in Forest Hills is about $45 PP. (my bridal shower)

Abbracimento's was $45/pp for my rehersal dinner in 2005 - that included open bar and upgraded food (the veal chop)

I've heard about both and that the food was so so...i would definitely go with Elbee's recommendations. Roma View's food was delish, Joe Abracciamientos is fab and we had Michael's Christening party at Connolly's and the food was really good.

I've been to a few events at Villa Russo in the past few years and I really like it there, the food was great. The room is really nice too!

Re: La Bella Vita and Villa Russo in Ozone Park and Villa Russo

Thanks for these suggestions. I've looked into just about all of them. Roma View isn't available for my date.Chat Icon Villa Russo is a good choice but I think we have too many to fit into the restaurant room, which is the only room available for my date.

At the American Legion, do you bring in your own food?
