Lab results - anyone know what this means (allergy-wise)?
I have a call into the allergist but we took Colin to him at 9 months and he confirmed he has a milk allergy.
Last week he had his 1-yr bloodwork and they called me to say his allergy level is still elevated and to follow up with the allergist, which I'll obviously do. But when I last left off with him, he suggested I wait until Colin is 2 to come back. I just wonder if anyone knows the degree of his allergy based on the number - .42. If it's a borderline number, I'd like to push to have this repeated in 6 months, instead of at 2 to see if he's free of the allergy.

I've always been told the scale was 0-6 and under 1 they don't even look at. Maybe that translates to a 4?
I've pushed to have DS tested more often than they recommended. I'm sure they rolled their eyes behind my back but it made me feel better.
