Lab that is good with Kids????
So I just took my boys for their 2 year well visit and my ped informed me that they no longer do the blood work in the office and I will have to take them to a lab. I don't know about you ladies, but my lab experiences have not been so great. I can't imagine putting my boys through that.
Can anyone recommend a lab that would be good with children?

1,000% agree!
They are fantastic and if my DD needs bloodwork I will only go to Good Sam.
When she was only about 7 mos old or so she had to have bloodwork before a surgery and I was so paranoid about it. We went into Good Sam and 2 techs worked together to do her blood. Even with her teeny tiny veins all that happened was she made a slight whimper and that was it. No tears, no screaming, no watching as they pull the needle in and out to catch the vein and get the blood. It was over in 30 seconds and she was just fine!

I have to take my 1 year old DS soon and my oed receommended Good Sam. She said they really know how to work with kids.

Another vote for Good Sam!! They are fantastic with kids! And most times it takes me longer to park than for the actual visit.

Good Sam is great with kids and that's where I took DS for blood work.....he needs to get blood work done again and we went there today and they no longer accept our insurance 
Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I wanted so bad to go to Good Sam so my cousin could take their blood (she works there) but it was too far for me. I went to Core Lab in Lake Success/LIJ and had a great experience.
