Lactating... 22 months post-partum??
Ok, I did breastfeed for over a year, but I stopped 6 months ago. Lately, I have been feeling a little let down-- not like a 3 month pp let down, but a little let down nonetheless, and in the shower I check and sure enough-- still a little milk.
What gives?
I actually feel like it's worse over the last week- I have my period and also have been thinking more so about a potential second baby. Maybe hormones???
Am I a freak???

Re: Lactating... 22 months post-partum??
I'm just about 30 months PP & I nursed my daughter for 25 months and this past week I have been feeling the same thing. Not full on let down, but definitely something. So weird...and I obviously don't have an explanation lol but more of a "you're not alone"

yeah, 50 views and no responses was feeling like a sideshow freak.
Is there a full moon this week?
I mean, at the end there anyway-- I barely was producing anything

I can't speak for myself because I don't feel a letdown when I BF But, my mom's boobs get real tingly when she holds a newborn for too long. With my sister's DS she handed him off to me because she felt like she was starting to produce milk again

My DD is 14 months. I did not breastfeed but I was having this issue and it ended up being my thyroid was under-active, just figured I would mention..

Hmmm... wonder if it's because one of my friends has a newborn that I see multiple times a week.

If I were to guess I would say possibly a combination of that and thinking about #2.
