Lactation Consultants in Suffolk County

Any suggestion
Im looking for someone to come to the house (or Ill go to an office)
I think that is better than a phone call. I think I need face to face consulting

Hi,

I had a visit from a lactation consultant when I first started breastfeeding. She was excellent! And now I have reached the 9 month mark, which is remarkable considering I didn't think my daughter would ever latch on & stay on.
Her name is Lucia & her number is (631) 331-3872.

I don't remember how much she charged - it was somewhere around the 100-150 range, and included a second follow-up visit.

Did you ask at your OB's office? I know that my OB recommends the one associated with St. Catherines. I think that she runs a support group there too - maybe you could do that?

I *think* her name was Jennifer Giordano or something like that. She came to my room when I was in the hospital and asked if I had any questions or needed help with latching or anything else.

I am sure if you call the hospital they can give you more info.

I know the girls in the La Leche League helped me a lot! If you check out their website you can find a list of girls in your area. I think their website is llli.org
