Ladies I need your help

Ok so I know there are alot of us ladies with irregular cycles.

Last month I was two days late and this cycle I got AF 24 days. I tested today with O strips and got only one line.

I am on mymonthlycycles.com, and my question is do I change my cycle length to 24 days instead of 28 for this month and do I also change my luteal phase to help determine my next ovulation will occur?

I know that site can give you three months of expected AF and Oing. I've done that and still not PREGGO.

This cycle was very different and longer than usual. Sorry to much info coming now. Day 1 spotting, Day2-5 heavy full with tons of tissue TMI sorry, Day 6-7 spotting.

I am so confused more than ever now.Its so frustrating to go through every month with cycles like this. My Gyno's advice is to relax and enjoy it. HOW THE HELL CAN I RELAX AND ENJOY BD WITH A MESSED UP CYCLE.

Sorry needed to vent.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Do you temp? Do you know how long your LP is? I would not change the cycle length, let it adjust itself, but you might want to adjust the LP, as it always sets it for 14 days.

I hope this helps! Chat Icon

If I were you, I would forget about the website, and use opks every day between periods, to make sure your pinpointing ovulation. Then, BD 24-48 hrs AFTER +opk

Good luck!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thank you thats what I am gonna do. I never liked the strips because I never get a smile face or the lines are never dark. I know I do ovulate but it varies each month.

So sorry. I don't know much about the web site, but I would change the length, even if it is just for this month. HTH

Good Luck!!!

ITA. Both times I got PG my cycles were off that month. My first PG I Oed late, and this time I O'ed early. Both times was with the season change. I gave up on the charts and even the temps because for me they were not always accurate. The only thing I paid attention to was my CM and I can sometimes feel ovulation pains. I BD on days that were not "peak" days according to the chart both times I got PG. If you are looking for something more adaptable, definitely get a OPK.

Before I went back to trying the strips thats what I was doing. I kept checking my cm and was getting pains only in my left ovary. Last cycle I BD on the 10, 12, 14 and the 18 day because the 16th day didn't happen and I felt we covered every key day and got nothing. I am not for temping because I am just to lazy for that Chat Icon Thank you again for your advice.

I, too, am having some irregular cycles. They are all over the place. Last cycle I o'd on CD17. The cycle before that on CD13. The cycle before that on CD11!!!

I wound up getting my visit from Aunt Flo on Friday, after I posted about an over 28 day cycle. My luteal phase was only 11 days!

The only think I can say is that I had a lot of outside stress (not TTCing) and I read that can delay ovulation.

I went out last night and picked up a digital OPK.

You and I seem to be in the same boat. Please try not to be negative and down on yourself. It will only make you crazy.

Have you tried temping? Definitely invest in an opk for the next couple of month. Don't get the strips - they drove me insane. Get the digital ones - they're pricey but worth the piece of mind.

Take it easy!
