Ladies that sit at a desk all day
Do you have one of those back support thingy's on your chairs? I'm getting to the point where it's getting so uncomfortable that I'm going to need one of those. If you do, what kind do you have?

Re: Ladies that sit at a desk all day
I just brought in an old couch pillow from home and use it behind my back. Works well.

I brought a regular pillow from home and I think it was too puffy bc the day I used it I thought I was going to crawl to Penn Station..I need to get something better!

I use a pillow and then I elevate my legs under my desk too. It really takes the pressure of my back.

See, that's my issue, I can't use a regular pillow with my chair at work. I really need something with good lumbar support, especially for my lower back.

No... we actually have really good chairs at work that have excellent lumbar support. I do have a foot rest under my desk and get up and walk around a lot.

We have these really expensive ergonomic chairs that are supposed to be great for lumbar support and your lower back, it does NOTHING for me....so if you find something that helps, def let me know!!!!

I have a lumbar support pillow and have had it for years. I think you can get them online or at a medical supply store.

You should check with your facilities people because the chair probably just needs to be adjusted. I'm in HR (two posts in a row I'm mentioning this) and part of what I do is the ergo. requests. I can't tell you how many times it's just an adjustment to the seat that helps bring people relief!

I've tried adjusting it although who knows what I actually did, so I'll definitely see what they can do..although my co is based out in Cali and we have exectuive offices here in the city, the facilities ppl that work here are sort of idiots

I don't have one of those ergonomic chairs. And they just cut all our direct expenses and we are not allowed to order anything (supplies, travel, lunches for meetings, etc....)
