Ladies That Use Product Model Management

I emailed Emma's pics to them at the end of June. I never heard anything so I just forgot about it until today. I was looking at their site and logged in and realized they had sent a response to my submission on 7/9/07 asking me to call to set up an appt on 7/12 to meet with them. I just assumed they would have called or emailed me to my regular email address that's why I never thought to log back in. It does say that if I can't call on 7/12, to call on a Thursday in the upcoming weeks at a certain time, but it's been over a month. Do you think it's too late now?

Ahh...I emailed my DD's pics at the same time and got a similar message- I too waited for a regular e-mail. I was supposed to call on 7/12. I just assumed they were not interested. If you hadn't posted, I never would have checked back on the site.

Re: Ladies That Use Product Model Management

Are you going to call tomorrow? I am on the fence. The more I think about it, I don't think I can commit to something like this (and the rejection), but it would just be so neat to see her little face in an ad for something!

I don't think so- I am a teacher and I am going back to work in 2 weeks. Ideally, it would have been a great thing to do for the summer- just a little extra money to throw into the college fund.

My son is with them. They are extemely busy now. If you still want to do it call them. They are always looking for new faces and love babies. It is a huge committment and not as much money as you would think, but it is so much fun to see your child in print.

Hello,
I went to their website, but don't understand how they work. After you submit pictures, do you pay them to find opportunities? Or do they present your child's photo to companies? I was unclear on the process.

If they want to represent you they start sending your child's picture out. My son started with snapshots I had taken. He booked off of that. You have to get comp cards (Every agency requires them) I got them after we made some money. You have the option of being on their website or not. That seems to be the norm now. They are extemely legit. My son has booked alot through them.

I sent DS picture in and they called us back and we went in the city for a meeting. I was flattered that they were interested in, but realized that it is a huge commitment and not for us...

Good Luck!!!!!

ETA: the people at the agency are VERY nice!!

I agree with Stephanie, it is a huge committment, they call you a day or two before a casting/go-see, so if you have plans, get ready to rearrange and travel into NYC & NJ. It's fun though.Chat Icon

We are with Product. They are really busy now.

It is a huge commitment. I work 5 days a week so it is very hard. This morning we have a request from Ralph Lauren so I am going into work late but my job is semi flexible. Once I stop working I can focus totally on it.

We don't go to reg go-sees. Only requests and jobs.
It is hard work. I am always on the fence about it.

Comp cards are not necessary until they are older. We still use snapshots. And Andrew is not on their website.
You have to pay for that and right now I don't see the need for that either.

Re: Ladies That Use Product Model Management

My ds is almost 9. We definately needed comp cards. I think the young ones don't because they change so quickly. My cousins girls have an interview with Generation. We don't go on go-see's anymore. My son refuses, so we are just doing jobs for now. He loves the shoots but hates the go-see's. We will start again next year.

Re: Ladies That Use Product Model Management

I sent Jared's picture into Product and that very same day they sent me an email saying that they didn't think they could use him at this time. I did it just for fun.

Whatever...Chat Icon

Aww, he's a cutie anyway!

I'm not even going to pursue it. I figure that since I will be going back to work soon, I won't have time to go to the city a few times a week.
