Ladies who are/were queasy/nauseated in the mornings...
What do you eat for breakfast? i know being hungry is half the reason for the queasiness but I just can't stand the thought of eating anything in the morning! My usual cereal is completely repulsive to me! I try to eat some yogurt and that is ok but i can only stomach a few bites! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I ate a salt bagel every morning. The heaviness of the carbs, and the salt, made me feel so much better. I hope you feel better soon!!!

salt and carbs are great for morning sickness! i always kept a little stash of pretzels to munch on just in case.

Thank you ladies! I just had dh go buy me salt bagels and i am eating one now!
Any other suggestions you have for eating throughout the day to get nutrients while battling food aversions would be GREATLY appreciated! I am hungry and eating so bad since nothing appeals to me these days!

careful with too much salt...i used to live for tuesday [bagel day at work] until i had a bagel with too much salt on it...now i can't touch a bagel, regardless of the "flavor" b/c it made me feel so weird.
really it helps tos imply keep SOMETHING in your tummy at all times and don't worry too much about what it is as long as you can keep it down!

Honestly? Just eat things that will stay down. If it is bad (like mine was/is) then just eat what appeals to you.
But for some reason bananas and grapes appealed to me, also watermelon. Cheese and grilled cheese too. Milkshakes are yummy and when I really couldn't keep anything down I drank Slimfast shakes b/c they have a lot of nutrients.
I still can't eat chicken or turkey.

after 3 months I developed routine, I get up and drink something, I will usually throw up within minutes (but at least I have something in my stomach to throw up with).. then I will eat a bit of bread or a roll with butter... once I get to work I get myself toasted, plain bagel with butter and have some tea with it...usually I am fine for the rest of the day...

Me too- and we don't have bagel places down here in MD like you do in NY. Most places have never even HEARD of a salt bagel
