Ladies who have done intralipids
How many total infusions were recommended that you receive? Did you do (or plan on doing) all of them?

Re: Ladies who have done intralipids
Dr B recommended 1 before getting pg, but I talked to him about other options and he said since I was on prednisone (which is also used to treat NK cells) that I could wait until actually pg. I did one treatment at 5 wks and then another was recommended at 9 weeks, but since he released me at 8 wks and the peri I was seeing didn't believe in intralipids and I was still on prednisone. I skipped it. That worked for me. Not saying it will for everyone. It was just very expensive and although we had the money and also had my parents offering to pay for it something in my gut just told me I didn't need it.

Re: Ladies who have done intralipids
I think I had 1 prior to my IVF cycle and then 3 after the IVF cycle, plus the prednisone, lovenox and baby aspirin. Got taken off prednisone around 14 weeks...still on Lovenox and baby aspirin.

Re: Ladies who have done intralipids
Thanks ladies. I was prescribed four total and have done three already. I asked Dr. B about the last one (since I forgot about it and I am late getting it) and he replied 'the last one is the least important' I also emailed Dr. T and he replied 'It's not crucial at this point'. I am just wondering if I really need it? I was on prednisone until 13 weeks and I am still on Lovenox and Baby Aspirin. Have had lots of scans and the baby is perfect.
My hubby wants me to get it (he said. "why mess with success") but I am so sick of being poked with needles and would skip it if it is not really necessary.
