Ladies who have Vera Bradley Bags.....

I want to get one but I have a few questions. How do you like it? What pattern did you get. I am thinking about getting the litte toggle tote, and the mini zip or the zip around.....lookbelow and tell me what you think....Oh yeah the pattern is hope toile....That would be the pattern I get. I also like a few other patterns, picadilly plum and chelsea green, but ithey are retiring soon. If I buy something I want to make sure I can get other things to match if I need to. Just let me know what you think. Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings, it is just a bag.

My small handbag must have been a ltd. edition because I do not see it on the site. It appears to be tiny but fits my phone, wallet, keys and other stuff comfortably.

I swear by my large duffel! I can fit my clothes and DH's clothes in it. As for the pattern it is a personal decision because the bag will last a lifetime.

I have the Villager in Mesa Red - I absolutely love it!

It's a perfect size to hold everything without being gigantic - does that make sense?

I really like the new Windsor Navy or Mesa Red. My travel set (duffle, makeup bag, jewelry case, travel tote, etc) are all in the Piccadily Plum and I love it. I also have some handbags, my fav is the tie tote in Java Blue. Love the tie tote style.

I have the little Toggle Tote like you are showing in the Piccadily Plum pattern, the matching zip around wallet. I also got the Java Blue color in the Amy bag and little wallet. I love love love Vera bags!!!! The Piccadily Plum color is my favorite, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the bags or colors. They are all nice. Your best bet is to go to a Hallmark Store that carries them and really look and see what you like. For a few more dollars you can usually get a bigger bag.

Will it withstand the everyday wear and tear. If I buy one I will more than likely use it daily. I mean I have bought cheap bags that lasted me years. I just want to make sure it is a sturdy bag before I spoend money on it. I am thinking I love love LOVE the java blue. It is pretty mix and match to my clothing style and wardrobe colors. I need someting that is versatile as well as practical. Then maybe for summer and spring I would get the hope toile. I like so many it is hard to decide.
I keep going back to the website to look at them again. DH told me I could buy one and that is the FIRST time he has ever just said get a bag for yourself. Usually I go buy one and hide it and bust it out like I have had it for a while. Thanks again

I have one vera bradley bag and I love it for the sole fact that you can pretty much fit everything but the kitchen sink in them...and it doesn't appear big from the outside


mine is the first, i bought my sister the second and she loves it too

out of the patterns you mentioned I like the chelsea green. I would maybe get matching purse and wallet but maybe a different pattern for a wristlet

I like to switch it up

I have the small toggle that you have pictured as well as the big wallet that's right next to it. Both patterns I have are retired and long gone but I love them both. Esp. the wallet... people have gotten me new wallets but I just can't let go of the VB one I have.

eta: my mom has this one... New Hope... some of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research...

I have the Maggie in Java Blue and New Hope - and the small wallet in New Hope. I love them and the best part is that they are totally washable. I have washed the Java Blue one three times and no problems at all.

I have the Java Blue Toggle tote as well as the matching wallet and large cosmetic case. I also have a wristlet in Msea Red. I love the Vera bags. I think they're adorable! I used my toggle tote almost everyday from July to the end of november. It did start to fade a little but it still looks awesome. Definitely go for it! I think the color you posted it really pretty and you'll get a lot of use out of it!

I have this one, now retired, which is too bad because the style is my fave. The straps did wear through, but I used it daily for work, stuffed with with books and my laptop. So I can't complain about the durability- it took a beating.



DH got me the large cosmetic for Christmas, and I love it- it holds a lot.



I have the zip around wallet too, which has also held up really well- been using it exclusively for about a year. Hasn't faded or worn.

Does anyone know where they carry the microfiber line? I want to get the black or brown diaper bag and maybe a smaller bag when I dont need the big bag. I love the designs but not ready to commit to one because I am not really inlove with any of the prints.

I use the Piccadilly Plum in the winter and the other two in the summer.

I have the first bag you showed on the left, in that same pattern. I used it all summer and LOVED it. I will use again this spring/summer. It holds so much stuff and wears great. It is a little dirty now so I'll throw it in the wash before using it again.

I just got an email today about their bags - they are comming out with 4 new patterns this month. Just an FYI.
