lakeshore blvd in mass park?
Hi,
We think we found our new home...its on lakeshore blvd in mass park. Great potential. Nice big yard. Only issue is probably half a block in after turning right on lakeshore blvd from sunrise highway.
We are planning to put a new fence so our toddlers are completely contained in the yard when playing. If they were to play in the front it would certainly be supervised.
My husband thinks its fine and that I shouldn't be too worried. call me a worry wart.
I just don't know if anyone else lives on lakeshore blvd or able to share any feedback or info...I love the house just curious on your thoughts or tips...

Is it directly on lake shore??? north or south of sunrise?? Just beware of teh traffic because most people, me included, use it as a way to avoid broadway in massapequa and/or sunrise... there are days i am up it 3-4 times a day....

its lakeshore blvd - south towards merrick road. But its 1/2 block in from turning on lakeshore blvd...

I dont think it is as busy south of sunrise as it is north of sunrise.. i would just check the traffic

I think it's a busy street as in a lot people use it to avoid other main streets so you will get a lot of thru traffic but nothing insane. Busier than a side street that doesn't go all the way through. Another issue to consider is how much noise you hear from being that close to Sunrise Hwy. Can you go in the area around rush hour and see the thru traffic and/or the noise? That would probably help you decide better.

It is a very nice neighborhood!!! I think once you see the fence up you will feel much more secure.

I live in Mass Pk - right on the corner of park blvd between sunrise and merrick - it's loud and busy - but a great neighborhood. i don't have any suggestions about the fence - you will probably still worry anyway....
the area though is worth it - it's wonderful.
