Lamaze videos????

I don't want to take a Lamaze class...I just feel like it's not for me. My mom is bugging me to watch some kind of video that shows all of the steps and stages of labor just so I have some clue of whats going on. Can anyone recommend one or know of where I can get one?

I found "Laugh and Learn about Childbirth." Crazy title, huh?

It appeared to be a little dated, so I'm not sure how up-to-the minute the info is, but I thought it was pretty helpful overall, especially in explaining the stages of labor and early signs of labor. I got mine from the library, but if they don't have it, you can probably get it from Amazon.

It's a personal choice. I vote no. But that's me. I also had 2 babies. I never went to lamaze. Actually before i had kids i was my friends coach and I went to a lamaze class with her. I felt it was useless and so did she. But that was that class. I am sure each lamaze class and instructor are different. the class we took could've been just a lousy class. Who knows, but I chose not to go. this is your first pg and you never had a lamza experience. If you are curious then go for it. If you feel your personality is better off not going or watching videos then don't You know yourself best and you also know what you want and don't want.
