Lamb Chops: How long on the BBQ?

I haven't made them in a while... I know I shouldn't cook them long. How many minutes on each side?

Are they single chops or do you have a rack you are going to cut? I like to buy the rack and cut them with 2 ribs each chop. Are the chops thick?

Single chops - I would heat the grill high and grill on high for about 2 minutes per side for a med-rare.

I like them grilled on high heat in order to crisp up the fat but keep them med-rare on the inside. I personally don't like lamb well done. My motto is you can alway throw it back on the grill for a minute or 2 if it is underdone...but once it is overcooked it's too late.
