Laminate and Vinyl Flooring

Has anyone done it themself? How hard is it? We need to do our dining room and bedroom with laminate and our kitchen with vinyl.

ETA: If you recently had someone do it what did you pay per sq foot ?

Re: Laminate and Vinyl Flooring

I did my living room, den and two bedrooms with Laminate.

I used Quick-Step. Quick-Step is sold in most flooring stores as well.

Also, I later used a Costco brand for my bedrooms, Harmonics.

Both are glueless and very easy to install. I wouldn't use Vinyl, laminate is much better and will last a very long time. They even have laminate that resembles tile these days.

we just installed Harmonics (costco) also, very easy......

costco we got on sale when it was about 1.15 a sq/ft....regular price is like 1.75 (i think - they are sold in 17 sq ft for like 25 bucks...

These will easly look better then some more expensive peices of laminate floor

Re: Laminate and Vinyl Flooring

if you want to install vinyl the tiles are pretty easy but the sheets are hard and I suggest a professional for that.
