Laminating?

I'm a new teacher and my school doesn't have a laminating machine. Where do you go? Also, I remember someone mentioning getting a small laminating machine for the little items (like my calendar numbers). Does anyone know where I could get one?

You can have your laminating done at places like Kinkos, Office Max (50% off now) and Staples. Teacher supply stores, like Educational Warehouse, will do it too. As for small laminating machines, you can get those at any office supply place like Staples or Office Max. Good luck

lakeshore. if you go to staples or any of those it is going to cost you a fortune.

i think lakeshore is something like 19 cents a squre foot. i could be wrong but i know it's not bad

i think my dad saw laminating machines at BJs and they had the sheets pretty cheap! but that was at least 4 months ago. you could try walmart or some other places. i uslaly get my laminating sheets at walmart

I think I might try Office Max. I have my own laminating machine. However, it is small and only laminates letter size paper. I have used it, but find it much easier to just go to places. Lakeshore does have it for 19 cents if you have the card.

Lakeshore is 29 cents a foot for teacher's club members (it's free to join) and it's self-serve..anywhere that does it for you is quite expensive (I've done that) and it's so simple to do it yourself...

Lakeshore is your best bet financially. One year I dropped stuff off at Kinkos thinking that Id be picking up a roll and cutting things myself. they took it upon themselves to do pocket laminating and I was suckered in for over $200. However, prepare to wait on line for a while at Lakeshore or at least go in the evening. If you have kids, leave them at home - the place is too tempting for them to keep their hands to themselves.
