Lance Armstrong & Girlfriend Expecting a Child
Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen are expecting their first child together, the cycling champ tells PEOPLE.
"Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful," he says in a statement. "We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts."
He adds: "We appreciate respecting our privacy, as we are both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family."
Armstrong, 37, who won seven straight Tour de France races after battling testicular cancer, announced in September his return to professional cycling and the Tour de France next year.
He has three children, Luke, 9, and twins Isabella and Grace, 7, with ex-wife Kristin (they divorced in 2003). The children were conceived through in vitro fertilization with sperm frozen prior to Armstrong undergoing chemotherapy.

Wow. The first thing I thought of, (As I go through IVF and sign all the legal documents regarding who gets the embryos or they get destroyed in the event of...) is that I guess his ex wife thought she'd be having another child with him someday when he froze his sperm.

I did not even know he was in a relationship since we saw him over the Summer with Kate Hudson. 
Let's hope she does not have a difficult pregnancy or he will dump her in no time.

I'm sure there are women out there who see him and see  A baby = child support for 18 years.
Not saying that is the case here, but you never know...

He is repulsive IMO.
I am thinking that the oops is: he thought he was sterile (and probably was for a time after having chemo), but now he is fertile and didn't know it.

I don't think they did IVF, I read that he thought he was sterile after chemo but apparently not. I don't think he wanted another child - isn't that why he and Sheryl Crow broke up?

I read that was the reason, but who knows. I have always been a Sheryl Crow fan, but he clearly preferred the Olson twins, at least for a little while.

I think one of the reasons Sheryl Crow broke it off with him was he didn't want more kids and she wanted one.
Same holds true with Angelina Jolie and
Billy Bob Thornton. He recently had a baby with his girlfriend.
