Landscaping companies or someone who does retaining walls, patios, driveways
I know i've asked this a few times but I'm really becoming frustrated with the few contractors i've seen. We are laying out quite a bit of money and it's impossible getting people to call me back, send me an estimate, etc.
I just want someone who will come, look at the project, LISTEN TO WHAT WE NEED, write up an estimate that includes everything and send it to me in a timely fashion...
Any rec's?

My uncle in NJ had some of this stuff done (he lives right over the GWB) so I can see if he still has the company info.

I'm in Huntington Station.
Not just the estimate -- they have to be licensed, insured, good recommendations.
My problem is i can't even get an estimate...
a few people got back to me with 1/2 of what we discussed. i'm not hiring someone or signing a contract and then find out later it's an additional 12-15k, KWIM?

I second Jeff, I have used him for everything done at my house... driveway, porch, stonework, back patio and steps and fireplace. Very professional, and will only do things the right way. He is very quick with getting the work done too! Check out my house album for some of his work.
