Large 3-D paper snowflakes
I visited a school yesterday and there were beautiful large, 3-D snowflakes on the hall bulletin board. There were long spiral tapes together.
elsewhere I saw single spirals that were hung from the ceiling. The idea was very similar.
Has anyone seen these? I would love to learn how to make them.

I happen to have them on my outside bulletin board of my classroom. I think they must be the ones you are talking about. I found the pattern last year on crayola.com. Here is the link:
