Las Vegas
DH & I are going to Las Vegas for our one year anniversary in Sept and I was wondering (for those of you who have been there) do you know names and locations of restaurants to eat at.

Re: Las Vegas
Lisa, on the train home I was reading the NYPost ...and they had a column listing 5 restaurants that their food critic rated the top 5 *new* restaurants in LV .. (recently opened)
I will just post them here for reference
1. Craftsteak at the MGM Grand Hotel 2. Okada at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel 3. Buffet@Asia (off the strip) on 2380 South RainbowBlvd. 4. Gaylord India Restaurant at the Rio 5. Sean Patrick's at the Flamingo
I have heard great things about all the restaurants at the Bellagio but they are kinda $$$$

Delmonico's in the Venetian - its Emeril's steakhouse and it is incredible!!!! One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to.

Re: Las Vegas
My DH proposed at Picasso in the Bellagio...the food is really good and you get a nice view of the fountains. The buffet at the Bellagio is really good too. Emeril has a seafood restaurant in the MGM which was pretty good as well.

Re: Las Vegas
Wow, a few of us will be in Las Vegas during September and may overlap!
I am still in the planning stages but I might run into either of you, Julie or Lisa.
We are going to be in Las Vegas either on Sept 10-12 or on Sept 16-18 (this is depending on how I book our Sedona/Grand Canyon/LV trip)
I have been to Las Vegas 5 times but Dh has never been and I love it there, so I cannot wait to go back

Felicia, keep us posted on this. Maybe we can meet for a drink if we are there at the same time.

Re: Las Vegas
We went to Vegas for the 2nd time over 4th of July weekend. If you like Mexican food I highly recommend the Border Grill in Mandalay Bay. It was yummy.
We also went to Pinot Brasserie in Venetian. That was ok, but mucho dinero.
Our first anniversary trip was to Vegas too!!
Where are you staying?

Re: Las Vegas
The best buffet is the one at the Rio. You can take a shuttle from Harrah's to get there.
Grand Luxe Cafe is good, we have one in Chicago. It's a sister restaurant to Cheesecake Factory and the food is soooooooooooooo much better.
Margaritaville is a fun place to go to for drinks and appetizers.
Have fun!
