las vegas question re: dress code
My dh (who aggravates me at times) wants to bring no pants or jacket for our trip next week. He wants to just bring casual for the day time and docker shorts (dressy shorts?) and collared shirts (think Charlie - 2 1/2 men) for the evening. Most of what we are doing is casual but we are going to see the show at Ballys at night and we are having dinner at the Bellagio (the buffet) do you think this is going to be a problem?
Help?

Re: las vegas question re: dress code
I think for the show he might want to wear pants. Some resturants require jackets but you can find out if they do before you go. Im sure the buffets, he can go in shorts.

Re: las vegas question re: dress code
We didn't dress at all while we were there. We went to a show at the Wynn. We just wore jeans.

Do what I do to avoid arguing - Throw a pair of jeans/khaki's in the bottom of his suitcase - he won't notice they're there until he NEEDS them (which he will if you decide to to the a bar/club/nicer place for dinner) - and then they'll just be there and you won't have to deal with it -

EXACTLY.......
Now as for the Buffet - Shorts are fine.. For the shows - when we went - EVERYONE was dressed up... I felt out of place - I was wearing dress pants and sandels...
Either way - Have a great time....

Re: las vegas question re: dress code
Do the khaki pants trick at the bottom of the suitcase.
DH had to wear pants in some restaurants.
Buffet: you can wear what you want.

I agree.
Pretty much anything goes in Vegas though.

Re: las vegas question re: dress code
He should pack at least 1 pair of long docker style pants and a nice button down shirt in case you go to a show or nice dinner. Enjoy, I love Vegas!
