Laser Lipo
I just read about this online...I have never heard of this before
Has anyone had it done or know someone who has? This is great...I am psyched. I told DH once I am done having kids I want everything to be put back to where it originally was but I was nervous about the whole liposuction thing and anesthesia and recovery.
This looks great...I can't wait!

Re: Laser Lipo
I had it done, and I am happy with the results. Just a warning though, lipo is PAINFUL! I had my abdomen and flanks done and I was in horrible pain, and I am pretty tolerant of pain. You are not going to be able to lift or do any strenous activity for 2 weeks so plan accordingly.
The other thing is, the doctor told me that I was a good candidate because I have never been through a pregnancy. Some people need a tummy tuck to get back in shape, but they will tell you what would be best for you if you want to do it.

Re: Laser Lipo
I have a client who did it just a few months ago so I can see 1st hand how it looks and feel. She did her hips/"love handles"/sides.
Look: Perfect! It looks flawless
Feel: I can still feel some scar tissue from the laser. It "feels" like 2 channels on the side. That the laser "going through" the skin. We have been working very diligently on massaging the bumps. The bumps are completely gone. She massaged them herself between the sessions. That has really helped her getting the best looking results. We can still feel the channels. It's not as bad as it was. The surgeon was really happy for the progress. She saw him again to discuss possible scar tissue. He said it will diminish more. So I massage her everyweek. I have not seen in 2 weeks because she was too busy but I just saw her and it was better again.
So it does take time to heal. But she did everything she could to optimize her results. Drink lots of water and massage. It's been about 3-3.5 months now.

From what I read, you're right. Laser lipo isn't for people that need major plastic surgery like a tummy tuck or people who are severly overweight. It is for people who have trouble spots they can't get rid of through diet and exercise.
