Last minute Christening outfit (online) I'm OOS.
Hi. Due to many unforseen circumstances and huge life changes (relocation OOS, my dad being dx with cancer) from right before DS2 was born to now, DS2 has not been baptized. He is 18 months old now (I'm embarassed to write that) and he still hasn't been baptized. Our new home is located in an area without a Catholic church so that hasn't helped things. Anyway, we are traveling to NY for a week bc my dad's cancer has returned and I decided to just ask the Father who married us and who baptized DS1 if he'd baptize DS2 the week we are there given our situtaion and he said yes!
So, now I need to get a Christening outfit ASAP since the baptism is in 2 weeks! I'm OOS so I need online places if anyone has any recommendations. I was also thinking if I see something online that maybe a local store could order it and alter it (like Cathy's Touch, etc). Called but they are closed now.
Welcome any ideas. I feel such relief that this is finally going to happen. It weighs on me often. I'd hoped for him to have a party and all that and it makes me sad that he won't but at the end of the day what matters is that he's baptized.

Sears actually had some really nice ones for my DD. I am sure they have them for Boys too.

There should be plenty of Easter Outfits out now that will work. My DS wore a off white shorts suit. He was 19 months when we baptized him.

Onesmallchild.com keeps things in stock. They've always shipped pretty quickly for me. I've bought two Baptism dresses from there.
ETA: My DD wasn't Baptized until 2.5yo so don't feel bad. We had her baptized where our family was since we moved away from everyone and it took that long to schedule a time to go back and do it amidst my dad's cancer dx and everything else.

I bought DD's dress from Baby Beau and Belle (same as christeninggowns.com). They have really adorable boy outfits, too. My SIL bought my nephew's there.

Mine too. He was 11 months & wearing 2-3T.
Bought a linen shirt & short overalls w a bow tie.
Since you are doing it in 2 weeks, get a white shirt, some beige pants & a cute bow tie. You can get it anywhere.
