Last minute gift for a 7 y/o?
I need ideas on what to get my neice. FBIL's gf called last night to tell us that they are having cake for her birthday tonight. I didn't get a gift yet so I have to run out after work, Any ideas?
I usually get her clothes and a toy but I don't know what kind toys 7 years olds are into. I'm used to buying toys and gifts for babies.
Maybe a barbie??

My neice is 8-she loves crafty things-like make your own jewelery, wheelies(better check with the parents on that, stuff for her room, music, gameboy, movies hth

My niece likes the crafty stuff too - little looms that she makes potholders with, jewelry making kits and coloring/painting supplies. A small scrapbooking kit might be good too. I think they get a lot of Barbie stuff from friends at their birthday parties.

My 7 yr old niece loves crafs too. She has kind of out-grown Barbie already and I think she's more into the Bratz dolls now. She also loves board games and jigsaw puzzles. DVDs are good too. I just bought them Shaggy Dog last week.

Definitely opt for Bratz dolls (They're slutty looking Barbies) over Barbies or buy a cheap purse & opt for a gift card to Target inside it.
