Late 3rd Tri Girls....
Today DH put together all of the baby gear...pack n play, swing, jumper etc. So now it is all around taking up lots and lots of space...I am due in 17 days, so should I just leave it all set up or now that it is together, should I fold them up and put them in the closets? We have a 2 story house so I know the pnp will be used downstairs alot....but how soon do they use the swing?? He put together the high chair too, but that is already folded and put away since it wont get used right away.

I still have about 40 days to go- and all of our stuff is set up already. I would say leave it!

Re: Late 3rd Tri Girls....
Well, we are not allowed to have anything in the house so everything is paid for and sitting at the store for us to have delivered. If I could, I would set up the pnp, crib, changing table, glider, car seat and bouncer. I would put the swing and high chair away until the baby has head/neck control.

The pnp is a PITA to keep folding up and putting away and then taking out. I would leave it out. The only thing I would put away for now would be the highchair. I didn't start using mine til about 4 months. I used the swing and bouncy seat the first day DS came home from the hospital.

Re: Late 3rd Tri Girls....
I too have 17 days to go...
The highchair, exersaucer, and jumper - we have put away and didn't bother with yet. I didn't use that until about 4 months with my son.
I set up the swing, play mat and bouncer and opened the boppy and just left it in babies room - I'll bring it downstairs once the baby is born - just wanted it out of the way but those are the things I figured we'd use first. I still have to set up the pack n play - but trying to figure out where to move DS toys to fit it downstairs. If you set it up - might as well leave it out. you never know when baby will come (my first was born by now - three weeks early!). I have the double stroller set up taking up space in my formal living room until I find a permanent home for it.
