Late 3rd trimester ladies: Heartburn question
Has anyone noticed it getting worse as the days go on?
I have 11 days to go & no matter what I eat, I feel like I end up with severe heartburn hours later. Last night I went to bed fine & woke up with major heartburn at 3am & still have it

It is the worst! I keep telling myself, 11 days!!!! Nothing seems to work....Even water is giving it to me

i have 9 more weeks, but lately its burning!!! more so towards the end of the day and i have to take rolaids before i go to sleep. the other night i forgot to take it and i woke up in the middle of the night and burped up a little puke. i know...sexy!

I'm 34w and even though I didn't think it was possible, it has started to get a lot worse the past few days. I'm not even sure what sets it off lately - I'm avoiding all of the usual trigger foods

I've been sleeping this way my entire pregnancy because of reflux!

OMG - YES!!!!! I really haven't suffered with HB much this pregnancy, but the past few days have been unbearable! I'm assuming it's because our stomachs are so squished that everything is just kind of backing up

Mine definitely got worse at the end. Eating small meals, or just grazing on small snacks throughout the day helped.
The good news is that once I had the baby, like magic, the HB was gone!

Oh I feel or you! I couldn't even eat a slice of pizza without washing it down with 5-6 Tums It was awful! My DS was born with a head FULL of hair...so the midwives tales were right for me.

i still have 30 days to go and it doesnt matter what time it is - the reflux is CONSTANT! i carry around a baggy of tums 1000mg bc I was starting to OD on zantac and it made me feel so guilty, like im harming 
Im actually starting to LOSE weight bc I cant eat anymore. Last night I started to eat dinner and the food wasnt going down giving me bad chest pain. I ended up just laying down and falling asleep. Im STARVINGGG 
and the worst part - WATER makes it so much worse! but at this stage im always dying of thirst. its a vicious cycle. i wake up to pee at like 1am, drink a glass of water bc im soo thirsty, 20 mins last im back up bc of the reflux. an hour later i gotta pee again, and thirsty again...etc.
im just hanging onto know that today is my last day of work and she'll be here SOON! in the grand scheme of things, I can deal with this. I know its not forever so it is what it is

Same thing happened to me last night. I woke up at two and ate tums. Woke up at 3 still suffering. I was eating ice pops and ice cubes to relieve it.

Yes, ever since I entered my 3rd the hearburn has been horrible!!
I wake up every night @ 3am from horrible hearburn. It's my 3am ritual now - pee & pop 2 tums.
It's pops up all day long now.

It stinks....I am basically living on ice cream at this point. That and bread are the only things that don't hurt. On the bright side, it's a great excuse to eat lots of ice cream!

YES!! I guzzle chocolate milk in the middle of the night and take 2 tums.
Ice cream, milke and bagels are the only two things that don't aggravate my heartburn.
