Late for 2 year check up?

DD"s 2 year checkup with her pediatrician is the week of her bday and I need to change the date-- because of the doctors schedule though if I change the apt I cant get another one for 3 weeks..

Is it really bad to have her apt that long after her bday?

I dont see what the difference would be, even a month later. Its not like when they are infants and go every few months, KWIM?

Late for 2 year check up?

no big deal minus insurance.

My carrier refused to pay for more than one check up within 12m after her 2nd year. So prior to 2yrs of age she had a certain number of visits. After 2 it was only once a year. This put me in a tight spot as AJ's bday is near school start dates. I have to book her appt months in advance to beat the crowds and since one year I was late by 4 days the following year I had to pay out of pocket for her visit on 8/22 (her bday).

Another year I was told I couldn't give her shots as she wasn't of age yet (two days before her bday). Insanity!

But realistically ... makes no diff

Late for 2 year check up?

We were a month and a half off- due to a trip to Europe, and neither doctor's office or insurance said anything.

Almost 3 months late since we didn't have insurance yet. Never thought about it as an issue.

My Twins turned 2 on Oct 28. We didn't do 2yr check up yet because of insurance changing. We will go in December.
