late second trimester cramping
Hi ladies--
anyone have cramping late in the second trimester? I'm 25.5 weeks and have been having more menstrual like cramping this pregnancy than I remember during my first. I've had Braxton Hicks in both pregnancies from about 22 weeks on, so I know what those feel like. This is more a general crampy feeling, like menstrual cramps I think. They don't feel like the contractions I had when I was in labor with DD. Any thoughts on whether this is normal? Should I call my OB? My next appointment is in one week---should I just tell him then?

I'm due the same day as you. I was told by my ob I have to drink more water and take it easy. I also have sciatica and stomach pressure/constant slight pain. I have to do everything slowly and cant stand or walk around too long.
ETA: 2 weeks ago they hooked me up to the monitors to make sure it wasnt contractions.....it wasnt

Also, just make sure you don't have a UTI! I'd call!!

Ditto. If you've had 2 previous pregnancies and know what to expect and this cramping isn't part of that, I'd call just to be sure. It could be something really simple but I think I'd rather know and feel at peace than not.
