DS has the puppy & loves it (he likes pressing the heart button over & over & over & over again lol). It's cute & I like it, but it's one of those toys that goes off on its own sometimes & scares the crap out of me LOL

DS is 12 months & has L&L Puppy. He loves him. He's been good keeping him occupied on long car trips - but watch out puppy - you know when DS has had enough - he goes flying across the back seat.

DS has both. He got them as gifts. He is 16 months and plays with both of them. Scout has more options to customize.

Something compelled my mother to buy DS the Learning Puppy at 4m. So we have that, and even from 4m he loves it and at nearly 8m love affair still going strong. But my only complaint about it, is that its a lint magnet!

my daughter has both but i think for his age scout would be better. my daughter has the girl version "violet" she goes to sleep with her every night she loves her i think because she is programed to say her name.

We own both (Violet instead of Scout). Definitely get Scout. The L&L Puppy is really creepy. It starts talking when no one is in the room  With Scout, you can program it to say DS's name and choose what songs you want on the puppy.

We own Scout and he loves it. He has had it since he was six months. I sitll play five minutes of luvably songs when I put him down for the night.

Scout 100%. My neice has scout and my other neice has violet. DS has scout too. They all seem to love it and it's great you can personalize it.

Another vote for Scout. DS loves it and the buttons on the paws are really easy for him to activate. He puts the music on and dances around to it Don't think he realizes yet that it says his name, but most people we show it to are very impressed!

Bella had the Laugh and Learn Puppy and it was cute.
But we just got Scout as a present for Lola and it's the cutest thing ever! I love how you can personalize it and she gets all excited when he says her name.
I vote Scout!

we have the Leap frog Scout and DS loves it. You customize it online to say your kids name and pick songs and stuff. its great.
DS loves pressing the paws over and over..LOL.

Christopher has Scout and LOVES it. He hugs and kisses it.
Also you can download songs and your child's name to Scout which he LOVES

Scout!!!! My Pal Violet (the girl version) was my DD's FAVORITE toy at that age. I LOVED that you were able to personalize it with her name, favorite colors, and foods. She learned a ton from that puppy!!
