Laurie Berkner on Sunday- please help!!!
Hi, I am thinking of taking Ava on Sunday. She has never been on a train, so we will take the LIRR. But what do we do when we get there????? Subway? Which train, which stop???? Or, what about a cab????? Can you take a toddler in a cab without a car seat??? Has anyone done it????
Any tips would be appreciated.

I've taken them in a cab without a car seat. You buckle them in or hold them on your lap (yes, it makes me nervous too).
I don't know if I'd suggest subway. It is fun for them but if's a big Earth Day crowd, you may be squished - which is NOT a good idea.
I would opt for a stroller for Central Park. It's a long walk & she's gong to get tired.
I was thinking about you the other day & wondering how Ava was doing in daycare. I've been on & off so I'm not sure I missed a post.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for thinking of us. She is doing great!!!! Much to my surprise. She is in Tutor Time in West Islip. They are wonderful- especially with her peanut allergy. It really wasn't much of an adjustment for either of us. I think the timing was just right...
Thank you for the Earth Day advice. Maybe we will see you there!!!!

I'm out. I was excited about it, had a place to stay, etc. then we got Joseph's soccer schedule & a communion invitation.
Next year no Spring Soccer for me.

Hi, We won't be going. I put my back out and won't be able to sit for the train ride... I't a good thing Ava doesn't have a good short term memory...I'm hoping she doesn't remember that we were going!!!!!
