Leaking through diapers at night

My 3 month old DS is leaking through his diapers at night. Should I move him up a size at night? He is in size 2 now and they are roomy on him. He just leaks through at night in between feedings. TIA

i love overnights.... what brand do u use? my son never did well w/ pampers so we switched to huggies, but my dd does fine with pampers

Pampers Baby Dry work really well for us during the night. They also make them in size 2, Overnights only start at size 3, so if they are too big I would try the Baby dry in a 2.

I bought the fisher price overnights yesterday and DS peed through them too. He went 9 hours without a diaper change last night and he was wet all the way up his back. through his pj's and sleep sack. I have used the regular fisher price diapers and never had a leakage problem. Does anyone here have an overnight diaper they can recommend that really works. DS usually gets up 2 times a night for a bottle and I change him the 2nd time. But last night he only got up once. 3 hours after he went to bed, so I didn't change him. Then he went 6 hours without waking up.

This may sound funny, but I always did a sweep of the elastic around the thighs after putting on a diaper. I felt like it kept more in.

I can't remember exactly, but I feel like around 4 months is when we moved him up to size 4 in pampers cruisers.

they're likely too small. just go up a size - don't even worry about overnights. and make sure the peepee is down!

My two cousins have all boys and they told me that Huggies work better for boys...not sure if thats true b/c I'm still using Pampers since I got so many from my shower but I also second that peepee down thing...seems to help, we haven't had a prob with that and my lo is just over 3 mos as well.

we use Fisher Price Overnights. They come in size 3. Highly recommend them.!

I always point his peepee down. He is never wet in the front. Just up his back and the left side usually. He is in size 2 luvs and pampers during the day with no problems. Even during long car rides he is fine. Just at night is a problem. We tried fisher price overnights last night and he peed right through them. Going to have to try some thing else...
