Leapster vs. Leapster2
which one should I get for my almost 4 year old?
Toysrus has the Leapster2 on sale for the same price as the leapster..
Any pros or cons for either...

Re: Leapster vs. Leapster2
I dont have an answer but I was at Target the other day (in commack on Jericho tpke) and I saw a leapster pkg with a star wars game for $19.99 it was on clearance!!!!!
I carried it around in my cart until I came to grips with the fact that all the kids in my life either have leapster or are way too young...

Re: Leapster vs. Leapster2
I believe the Leapster 2 is nothing more than the Leapster with the ability to hook it up to the computer via usb cable. I have the Leapster 2 (my son was 4 in February) and he loves it. I have never once even thought about hooking it to the computer - I have no time for that.
I know they use the same exact games. I'd get the leapster 2 esp since they are the same price. My son has Thomas the train, Nemo, Cars and Pet Pals. He loves Pet Pals the most, I think. He's a animal lover so he loves caring for his doggie.
