Leaving something off of your resume?

Is this really bad? My dopey DH submitted his resume for an awesome job but COMPLETELY FORGOT to update the P/T job that he works. He updated everything else. It is related to what he does and is applying for. He supports computers in a University FT and works PT as an instructor at a community college teaching a computer class. He just didn't realize and neither did I. I'm so because I'm afraid that this will hurt him with even getting an interview. He now says that it might be better that it's not on there because it looks like he works way too much and has to be other places? I don't agree. He wants me to send his resume to 2 other jobs with leaving it off "for now" since the job posting has been up there for a month now and he'll fix it tonight.

Do you think he ruined his chances on the job he already applied for and for the one's I'm going to send his resume to???

And is it a bad thing in general in the resume world to leave something like that off on purpose?

So he left the PT job off? I dont think its a big deal unless he wanted to showcase it and is now regretting it. lots of people have part time jobs or side gigs that I dont think are relevant when looking for a FT job..

Yes, the PT job off. I honestly couldn't tell you how we didn't notice that? But, it's too late now I guess. The job he applied for is really good and a lot more than what he makes now and with the same company. I'm just hoping he didn't blow it. We did want them to know and still do that he does that, but I can see how having 2 jobs listed on there may seem like it's too much, but it may be good as well? We're not sure?

I want to wait to submit his resume to the other positions until he can put that job on there because they mention being able to give a class or 2 on certain programs. So if he teaches a class that will be very easy for him to do. But he wants me to send it now. They've been on there since 6/20 so I don't know when they expire?

I could see mentioning the 2nd job being a good and a bad thing. On one side he has the experience, on the other hand they may wonder how he can dedicate all his attention to this new job if he is working a second one.

Since whats done is done I think that you should just see if he is called for the interview and if he is, then he can highlite how he has experience teaching such and such class..

I hope he hears something
