it is where they take away pieces of your cervix for abnormal cervical cells

for me i was the stage right under cancer

if you get a abnormal pap than an abnormal coloscopy thats when they usully do it

Re: LEEP Procedure

i had it done a year and a half ago. it su cked- i wouldnt stop bleeding and they had to quarterize me and i couldnt go into work the next day. everyone has different experiences though so don't worry- i am a fluke i think. but they told me there should not be any complications down the road.
good luck!

Re: LEEP Procedure

i had that done yearssss ago. my dr told me it woullndt effect me getting pregnant, they usually just keep an eye on you (i gues high risk) and if the cervix looks week they put a sutcher in to strengthen it.
when i first signed onto this site i think i posted something about this on the pregnancy board and a lot of girls had it done and had healthy pregnancie.
i will see if i can find the thread for you

Sorry - crashing but just wanted to let you know I had this done about 2 years ago and am currently 32wks pregnant with my Chat Icon

I also go pregnant on the first try so although I know everyone's situation is different, I wouldn't worry about it at all!!

I have had a very normal, healthy pregnancy and I'm sure you will too!!!!

Good luck!!! Chat Icon

DONT WORRY I had the same concerns I had a leep about 7 years before I got pregnant it was one of the first questions I asked my dr about. He told me not to worry it doesnt affect getting pregnant or staying pregnant
