Leg Pain in 3rd Trimester
Do any of you 3rd trimester ladies suffer from leg pain?
I believe it is due from the baby hitting some nerve that triggers pain in my leg.

I just entered my 3rd trimester and have been having terrible shooting pains in my one leg. I hope it goes away soon.

Hey date twin - - -I have been getting horrible leg pain too. I think it is because is about 7 pounds already and I have been on my feet nesting and working. I feel your pain

Unfortunately sciata & charly horses are common.
For Charly Horses & muscle pain, increasing your potassium helped me. Bananas!
I know several of my friends went to chiropractors for relief. They had a pretty severe case of sciata.
One thing that was also helpful was to sleep with a pillow between your knees.
eta. If you opt for the chiropractor make sure they are used to adjusting maternity patients. It is a different type of adjustment. If you are in LI & need names, I know a few of them.

I started at 13 wks and it was for awhile and started up again this trimester. It hurts and I have DH massage my leggs.

I dont have pain as much as RLS and I cant sleep at night from it. I find myslef in the shower (seems to help) at 3 4 oclock in the morning trying to relieve the RLS and then i have back pain.

yes! seems to be mostly at night when I am laying in bed. It seems to help when I switch from side to side.

Yes! I have had sciatica for a long time, but last night I got this pain in my leg that felt like I pulled a muscle. It was so bad that I woke up crying. It still hurts this morning

I had my first charlie horse about two weeks ago and I ripped my poor DH from a sound sleep because I screamed so loud. I thought I was going to die, lol. I still felt pain and it was hard to walk even two or three days after. I heard that upping your potassium intake will help.
